Getting started with Udalist

From account setup to collecting moments from guests — step by step.

Udalist is a simple app for collecting photos and videos from your events — weddings, parties, and corporate gatherings. Create an event, guests scan a QR code, and upload straight into one shared gallery. No app install and no guest login required.

Create an account

Start with a free account — email and password, under a minute.

Click Start for free on the homepage.
Fill in your details and send the verification code.
Enter the code from your email, or sign up with Google.

First event

After sign-in, create your first event on the free plan.

Pick the free event tier and click Try for free.
Name the event, choose the type, date, and venue.
Click Create and share — your event opens right away.

Invite guests

Invite guests with a QR code or link. No app, no sign-up for them.

Open Invite guests in your event.
Download the QR code or copy the invite link.
Guests scan or tap and upload from their phone.

Add photos to the gallery

You can upload photos and videos yourself — not only guests.

In the event, click Add memories.
Select files from your device.
They appear in the gallery as soon as upload finishes.

Manage your event and settings

The Manage tab is where you run the event after it goes live.

Switch to Manage in the event detail.
See guest activity or export everything.
Edit settings, tier, and storage limits.

Add Udalist to your home screen

iPhone / iOS

On Apple devices, use Safari for this flow.

Open Safari and go to udalist.app.
Tap the Share icon (square with arrow) in the bottom toolbar.
Scroll down and choose Add to Home Screen.
Tap Add in the top-right corner. The Udalist icon appears among your apps.

Android

Steps below use Google Chrome.

Open Chrome and go to udalist.app.
Tap the three-dot menu in the top-right corner.
Choose Add to Home screen (or Install app if offered).
Confirm with Add. Upload access is one tap away on your home screen.

Tip

Tip: a home-screen shortcut saves time — no need to open the browser and type the address every time.

No. Guests scan a QR code or open a link, the gallery loads in the browser, and they upload right away. No app and no login.

In event detail under Invite guests, use the QR code (download/print) or copy the link and send it to guests.

The free plan includes 250 MB of cloud storage. For larger events or video, use Premium (up to 5 GB).

Not on the free plan. Video uploads are available with Premium.

On the free plan, retention is about 30 days. Remaining days are shown in event detail under Usage.
